2007-11-04 - Fini

The most important thing we can say is that the people of France are kind and gracious. And from that, it is imperative that all explore this little Class M planet to see what other cultures are like.

Oh, and go shopping for great shoes and purses.

2007-10-30 - Les Catacombes de Paris

We made it to the catacombs today. The awe. It took a bit to realize we weren't looking at DOOM bitmapping but real human remains. I even said, "With respect," in a low voice before I took pictures.

We fly back tomorrow. Stay tuned a for summary of our trip.

And it protected her from the rain. The rain was beautiful. We shopped and shopped some more. Well, the Mrs. did. I bought an exotic, French PSP-USB charge cable. No real pics today. Though we did see Ubuntu wallpaper on a Vista laptop. The French really do have good taste.

2007-10-28 - Aujourd'hui c'est tres froid! Mais le toure d'eiffel tres manifique!

We didn't dress as warm as we should. We did push on to the third level. We were rewarded. Mrs. Parallel asked, "Do you feel small?" View the pictures and judge for yourself.

2007-10-27 - Nous avons le bon heure!

We experienced two-thousand years of art history today. It started with the Italian masters, then to a medieval castle _in_ the museum, off to ancient Rome and Greece, and finishing with ancient Egypt. We were exhausted with all there was to take in.

2007-10-26 - 1. Sit on ass 2. Walk ass off 3. Profit!

So we traveled all of the 25th and arrived at CDG the morning of the 26th. Trying to get a bus to the metro, we ended up on a bus that took us to Orly, the other airport! We said "Screw it," and a got a BMW taxi to our hotel. Much nicer. And probably cheaper than a taxi straight from CDG.

We promptly took a nap, which was leet, then got up about 1700 and just started walking. We crossed the Seine and ended up at the Louvre. We went farther to the park with the ferris wheel and saw the Tower and the Arch de Triomphe. Everything is uh-maze-ing. Everything is so beautiful, everyone is so nice... it's been an amazing first day and we absolutely love Paris.

I'll rotate 'em later. And yes I forgot to turn off the timestamp. It's off now.

2007-10-24 - Tomorrow's the day

We've got our Euros and our Metro routes and we're ready to fly! We also learned today that our hotel is within walking distance to the Louvre. Leet!
